A.I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Southern bred.
Q2.How was life coming up?
A.Life coming up was average I'd say. For some time I was an only child and was spoiled. I had all the necessary needs and some of what I wanted.
Q3.What made you start writing?
A.Had a lot of free time and this story that kept rehashing itself in my head day after day. I got off work one day and sat down and started writing.
Q4.How old was you when u started to read and what books u like reading?
A.I read mostly newspapers and magazines when I was younger. Time, Life, Ebony and Jet were my favorites.
Q5.What authors would u like to collaborate with?
A.I'm not good with collabs because I'm limited on time, but off hand I'd say Dama Cargle and Gabrielle Dobson. Love their style. Kwan and EJD also.
Q6.How did you come up with the story line to the Hollands family?
A.The storyline for The Holland Family Saga just came to me on the way home from work oneday with a character named Katrina Sanders.
Q7.Do u see yourself putting your books into movies?
A.I would love to transform my books into a movie saga or drama series.
Q8.Out of all the female characters in your books which one stand out to u and why?
A.Lubby Williams. Definitely Lubby Williams because she was based on a real person I knew and loved.
Q9.What about the males characters which one stand out to you and why?
A.Definitely Ben Holland. He personifies this entire fictional family. He possesses all of their qualities in different doses.
Q10.Out of the Hollands series books which one is your favorite?
A.Samantha's Story no doubt because it had everything and brought about a unification.
Q11.All of the characters which one compares to who you are?
A.Gerald Huntley from The Five Daughters. He and Lubby somewhat mirrored the relationship I had with my first love early on.
Q12.Where do u see yourself in 5 years?
A.Owning a small kitchen and steadily publishing books that impact readers' minds and hearts.
Q13.If u can give advice to a new upcoming author what advice you will give?
A.Stick with what you know in the beginning and gradually expand. Write from the heart and stay true to yourself.
Q14.If you can let a fan know one thing about u that no one knows about what will that be?
A.I like listening to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Lol

A.Black of course.
